I initiated a project called Boots for Ballet engaging with local primary schools in order to challenge boys to temporarily trade their football boots for ballet shoes and demonstrate the similarities of strength and discipline associated with the two very different activities and also to help dismiss preconception that dance is for the feminine gender.
